Audience

This 2 hour 15 minute stand alone webinar is aimed at healthcare professionals that are new to managing COPD and are wanting an introduction to the topic.

​

This webinar will give a basic overview of:

​

• What COPD is and its impact

• The difference between a normal airway and a COPD airway

• The symptoms associated with COPD

• The diagnostic process including history and investigations

• Assessing and managing COPD including both the pharmacological & non pharmacological options

• The COPD guidelines

​

Throughout the webinar you will be able to contribute and ask questions using the ‘chat feature’. 

 

The webinar will be hosted via Google Meet. The link will be sent out 2 weeks before the meeting which will give you the opportunity to test the link to ensure it is not blocked by firewalls and to download anything necessary.  You will need a good internet connection and a microphone and webcam ideally.
